Privacy Policy

HotsTuff is a small online store run by Matthew Ferreira in New Brunswick, Canada. This page says plainly what information the site touches, what it doesn't, and who else is involved. No legalese padding — if anything here is unclear, email ceohotstuff@yahoo.com and a human will answer.

What we collect, and why

• Order information. When you buy something, Stripe (our payment processor) collects your name, email, phone, shipping address, and payment details. We see everything except your card number — card data goes to Stripe only and never touches our systems. We use your order details for exactly one thing: getting your item to your door.
• Custom design uploads. If you use the custom-merch feature, your uploaded image is stored for up to 90 days so we can print your order, then it expires automatically.
• Anonymous visit counts. We use GoatCounter, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that does not use cookies, does not track you across sites, and does not build profiles. We see counts like "12 people visited today" — not who you are.
• Emails and texts you send us. If you contact us, we keep the conversation so we can help you. That's it.

What we don't do

• No selling or renting of your information to anyone, ever.
• No advertising trackers, no cross-site cookies, no profiles.
• No marketing emails unless you explicitly ask for them.

Who else is involved

Three service providers handle data on our behalf, each only what they need: Stripe (payments), our fulfillment suppliers via CJ Dropshipping and Printify (they receive your name and shipping address to ship your order), and GitHub Pages (hosts this website). Each has its own privacy policy governing its role.

Our social media tools

HotsTuff publishes its own content (product photos and store updates) to its own social accounts — including via TikTok's official Content Posting API through our "HotsTuff Engine" app. This tooling posts our content to our accounts. It does not collect, access, or store any data about other TikTok users, followers, or viewers.

Your choices

Want to know what we have about your order, or want it deleted after your guarantee window? Email us and we'll do it. Payment records stay with Stripe as required by financial regulations.
